SCREEM
Assess Social, Cultural, Religious, Economic, Educational and Medical resources the family can mobilise.
Clinical context
SCREEM surveys the family resources available to cope with illness across six domains — Social, Cultural, Religious, Economic, Educational and Medical. This brief SCREEM-RES version rates one item per domain from 0 (strongly disagree) to 3 (strongly agree) for a total of 0–18.
Use it when care needs are long-term or patients struggle with adherence: scores of 13–18 indicate adequate resources, 7–12 moderately inadequate, and 0–6 severely inadequate — guiding referrals to financial aid, health education and community supports.
Brief SCREEM-RES — rate agreement (0 = strongly disagree … 3 = strongly agree)
